Reformatory school was changed into the school for custody, personality,
subject, vocational education from the school for caring and custody as revising
the law of reformatory school on December 31, 1988.
The reformatory school is divided into schools for personality education,
subject education, and vocational education again.
Although reformatory school is divided into schools as each function, the
center of reformatory school should be personality education.
Even though it is true that personality education in reformatory school is
criticized because they handle and plan personality education without deliberation
and detailed review, they positively use art program as an important tool of
personality education, but they also have the process without clear character and
purpose. Analysis of arts programs for personality education in the field has been
somewhat formally said that. Analyzed the nature and content of arts programs for

So, the study clarifies understanding personality education in training school,
and what character and purpose art program should have for personality education.
Through the study, I would like to help evaluate, select the method of
teaching and learning, pick up the contents of forming art education program in
