This Study proves the influence of rearing attitude of parents and social support on the mobile-phone
dependence in middle school students, also look into the mediator effects of aggression between rearing
attitude of parents, social support and mobile-phone dependence. The subjects of this study were 286
middle school students living in Gwangju. The rearing attitude of parents scale, social support scale,
mobile-phone dependence scale, aggression scale were used to conduct the survey. The data analysis was
done using PASW Statistics 18.0 version and AMOS 20.0 version. To summarize the result of this study
are as follow: First, the rearing attitude of parents and social support had no significant on mobile-phone
dependence. Second, the rearing attitude of parents and social support had significant on aggression. In
other words, the more positive the rearing attitude of parents and social support were, the lower
aggression in middle school students was confirms. Third, the aggression had significant on mobile-phone
dependence. Forth, aggression had play a mediator role between the rearing attitude of parents, social
support and mobile-phone dependence.
