The purpose of this research is to examine children’s rights in daycare center. This
research was conducted in the categories of survival rights, protection rights, development
rights, and participation rights. The study focused on the level of understanding and
implementation of daycare center teachers and parents. The results of this study are as
follows. First, the understanding of parents in children's rights was marked as the highest
however, the implementation evaluation showed a low level in the evaluation.
Secondly, the understanding of teachers was higher in every category than the parents. In
an implementation, the survival rights, and protection rights were marked higher from
teachers than the parents. Lastly, in comparison of the understanding and implementation
of parents and teachers in these four categories, parents and teachers of public daycare
center showed the highest understanding, and teachers and parents of home daycare center
showed the highest implementation.
