The purpose of this study is to examine the current research trends of anger management program in Korea.
The 104 published theses were chosen from the National Assembly Library and included ‘Anger’, ‘Anger
Management’ and ‘Anger Program’ in Korea. The types of clients of the program are children(31.7%),
adolescents(35.6%), college students(9.6%) and adults(23.1%). The methods and tools of the studies are
STAXI-K, NOVACO, MAI, etc. Mostly, 8 sessions are used for some theses, followed by the use of 10~12
sessions. Most use the cognitive-behavioral approach programs and both the cognitive-emotional-behavioral
integrated approach and the art approach programs are next.
