This study was performed to study the experience of school social work pilot project in special schools and to suggest a school social work model for the students with special needs. Literature study and the case study about the model project at special schools were taken to develop an analytical framework of school social work services for the students with special needs which contains three dimensions such as individual intervention, family support, and school-family-community liason. In the pilot project, various school social work services were performed in the all three dimensions in the analytical framework and most of the services were relatively successful. But at the same time, a lot of obstacles were found in the way of effective school social work services to be offered. Based on the above findings, the researchers suggested and argued a school social work service model for the students with special needs.
