This study aimed to interpret and evaluate meta-educational poetic creation of Toegye Yi-Hwang[退溪李滉] focused on Dosansibigok[陶山十二曲]. Meta-education is education about education. Educational worlds can be improved by meta-education which enables to improve educational transtalents. Toegye Yi-Hwang devoted himself in his whole life to performing descending education about not only his Confucianism but also education itself. The young scholars in Dosanseodang[陶山書堂] could obtain educational development by his descending education about education. Dosansibigok represents his practical experiences about education in Dosanseodang. And this poem is a meta-educational text in the context of confucian education which tells us about educational activities and values. He performed descending education by Dosansibigok in some respects : Inclination about ascending education, beliefs and expectation about possibilities, concentration of one`s own choice and continuation of realization, pleasures of ascending education, pleasures of educational development, respects about wise men, concentration of education, relativity of education. He could create persuasive effects in this poem, and it can be interpreted and evaluated meta-educatial roles.
