중증 성인발달장애인 가족의 돌봄 부담과 서비스 욕구에 관한 연구 - 어머니와 실무자를 중심으로-

본 연구는 중증 성인 발달장애인의 돌봄 부담과 서비스 욕구를 파악하기 위해 주돌봄자인 어머니 와 실천현장의 실무자를 대상으로 포커스집단면담을 실시하였다. 연구결과는‘가중되고 복잡해지는 돌봄부담, 상황변화에 따른 추가된 욕구, 실효성을 추구하는 제도 개선’ 총 3개 범주로 분석되었다. 제도권 서비스의 축소와 성인기에 접어든 발달장애인 자녀의 변화에 대응하기 어려우며 오랜 돌 봄으로 지친 부모는‘가중되고 복잡해지는 돌봄부담’에 어려움을 느끼고 있었다. 이와 같은‘상황변화 에 따른 추가된 욕구’를 충족시키기 위해서는 참신한 내용의 교육과 부모의 심신을 위로하고 돌봄 자의 욕구에 부합할 수 있는 유연한 서비스가 요청되었다. 또한 가족의 욕구충족은 쉼 서비스 확 대, 미래계획, 통합서비스 체계구축 등과 같은‘실효성을 추구하는 제도 개선’을 통해 가능할 것으로 인식되었다. 이러한 분석결과를 토대로 중증 성인 발달장애인의 가족지원을 위한 실천적, 제도적 방안을 논의하였다.

영문초록

This study was aimed at figuring out the service needs of the family and care burden for adults with developmental disabilities. Focus group interviews were conducted two groups, primary care mothers and service providers. The results were analyzed by 'weight and complication of care burden, the additional needs due to changing circumstances, institutions that seek to improve the effectiveness, a total of three categories. It is difficult to respond to changes in person with developmental disabilities entering adulthood with a reduced institutional care services for a long weary parents felt the difficulties' are weighted complex care burden. In order to meet these 'additional needs that change according to the situation "over the mind and body of fresh content and parental education and flexible services to meet the care needs were requested party. Also meet the family's needs have been recognized as services available through the restless, ready for an alternative future development, service system construction as "institutions that seek to improve the effectiveness, such as. Based on the results of this analysis support for families of adults with developmental disabilities and practical, institutional measures were discussed.
