An adolescent period, in the midst of a developmental stage of human beings, is the transition period between childhood and adulthood, and the period that goes through the most considerable changes physically and mentally. With drastic physical change, the adolescents hold their own views about a view of the opposite sex, a view of occupation, an economic view, and so on, and also they experience various conflicts in the process.
In an adolescent period, it is very important to have experiences of being respected and sympathized because it affects the growth, development, and formation of human nature of individuals.
Additionally, one of the most important tasks in an adolescent period is adaptation in the school. Most of the adolescents spend lots of time at school, and school adapting in the process is really important since it can become a foundation of relationships and social adjustment.
In this perspective, by group art treatment program, for aiming to have emotional change so that each of an adolescent is able to expect self-aspect positively, we aim at having positive change of flexibility of school adapting, which is one of the most important developmental tasks during an adolescent period.
Therefore, this research has a signification from searching the effect of school adjustment resilience of middle school adolescents through group art treatment program.
