This study utilizes qualitative research methods for the overall understanding of sexual behavior and
services support needs of at least 18 years of aged people with developmental disabilities experienced
by target group-home social workers. Adults with developmental disabilities experience sexual behavior
such as " revealing sexual curiosity," "Masturbation," " sexual experience, " " perpetrators or victims of
sexual offenses act." It is found in the following four major topics for social workers to cope with sexual
behavior experiences, which are "responding calmly," "finding information each other," "giving attention
firmly cycle," and "exiting." For example, diversification of sex and sexual counseling, professional
association, recognition of social change, heterosexual dating, home support marriage are shown as the
concrete service needs. Through their coping experience, social workers in the group-home found that
they are first confused sexual behaviors of people with developmental disabilities and their actual
recognition, also experience psychological burdens and stresses on the sexual behavior of adults with
developmental disabilities, and finally understand sexual issues of those in developmental disabilities can
be resolved with concrete solutions, such as heterosexual romantic love and marriage. Based on the above
results, the study conclusionally proposes intervention measures to support the group-home social workers
particularly coping with adults with developmental disabilities.
