This research is to analyze the pathways that social exclusion level of householder influences in career
maturity of youth. So, this study selected 496 youths and householders respectively who participated in the
seventh additional data(youth) of Korea Welfare Panel Study. As analysis methods were fussy set theory
was used for analyzing to recognize social exclusion level and structural equatioon models were explored,
using AMOS 18.0. The key results are as follows. First, Social exclusion level of householder was high in
order of education, housing, income, employment, social participation, health dimension. Second, Social
exclusion level of householder didn’t have direct influnces but had indirect influnces in career maturity of
youth through the pathways parent factor, personal psychological factors and school factor. The results of
analyzing the pathways were ‘social exclusion→parentes' rearing attitudes→mental health→career maturity’,
‘social exclusion→parentes' rearing attitudes→self-esteem→career maturity’, ‘social exclusion→parentes'
rearing →school adjustment→career maturity’, ‘social exclusion→parentes' rearing attitudes→mental health
→self-esteem→career maturity’, ‘social exclusion→parentes' rearing attitudes→mental health→self-esteem→
school adjustment→career maturity’, ‘social exclusion→parentes' rearing attitudes→self-esteem→school
adjustment→career maturity’. Third, as a results of examining through a total effect, the variable that
influences career maturity of youth most is self-esteem of youth.
