This research is to study the dynamics and conflicts of family relationship suffering in the adaptational
process of new family environment and the psychological, emotional traumas of rejoined children of
multi-cultural family. from this, we expect to propose a supportive programs for family adaptation of
rejoined children. Total 22 participants(11 rejoined children and 11 rejoined children's mother) joined this
research and the hermeuneutical grounded theory methodology was applied to interpret it. Data were
collected by the depth interview and various written records and they were analyzing by Rennie(2007)'s
methodology. We could construct 89 meaningful units, 26 subcategories, 10 categories by analyzing and
categorizing meaningful units of the data. the results are as follows. The core theme of the family living
adaptation of rejoined children was presented as “Living the suspender deprived of one's own ground”.
Based upon the research outcomes, we suggested a supportive program considering the need and characters
of rejoined children and a way to improve the function of multi-cultural family.
