This study revealed that the meaning of science education was left without epistemological
review in the area of ‘the study of education’. Destruction of the colloquial term, ‘the study
of education’ disclosed that there was no correlation between schooling and the science
education as a form of life. It can reveal the vivid nature of school science problems as it
is when replaced by ‘the study of school science’, which is including ‘science curriculum
development’, ‘science course management’, and ‘science teacher training’.
After the destruction of the term, a new ground of theoretical study of science education
can be established. The whole process of dismantling the term, ‘the study of science
education’ and establishing new theory of science education can be applied to all the area
in the study of school subjects because they also have shown similar limits in the concept
of theoretical meaning of education.
