This study aims to examine how continuous vertical traction affects lumbosacral curvature and Oswestry disability index for
adolescents. Participants were divided into an experimental group which applied continuous vertical traction with a sling exercise and Medx
exercise and a control group which applied a sling exercise and Medx exercise. Each group consisted of 9 people. All of the participants were given
an X-ray on their lumbosacral curvature and an Oswestry disability index before and after a 12-week experiment in which the results were
compared and analyzed. There were no statistical differences between the two groups; however, there was a statistical difference in the intergroups
about lumbosacral curvature and Oswestry disability index. This study showed continuous vertical traction with exercise did not affect
lumbosacral curvature and Oswestry disability index, so there is a need to furthermore study about vertical traction.
